The anticipation is already high, but when you add Ohtani, the biggest baseball star in the world, to the mix, it’s going to be one hell of a festival.

Major League Baseball announced the 2024 MLB World Tour schedule on the 13th (KST). South Korea, along with Mexico, England, and the Dominican Republic, will host the opening game of the Major League Baseball regular season.

Seoul Series. It’s the first major league regular season game to be played in South Korea. That alone is exciting, but the matchups are the best. The LA Dodgers and San Diego will play a two-game series starting on March 20. The game will be played at the Gocheok Sky Dome.

Why it’s the best matchup: The Dodgers and San Diego are the favorite teams of Korean fans. The Dodgers have a long history of being the team of Park Chan-ho and Ryu Hyun-jin.
