Seattle’s J-Rod’s 17-hit, 4-game insanity…an MLB record
The Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball extended their winning streak to five games with a 10-3 victory over the Houston Astros on Tuesday.
At the center of Seattle’s victory was 22-year-old star outfielder Julio Rodriguez (J-Rod), who went 4-for-6 on the day.
With 17 hits in his last four games, he set a major league record in that category (most hits in four games).
It surpasses the previous record of 16 hits in four games held by Milt Stock of the Brooklyn Robins in 1925.
Rodriguez had four or more hits in four consecutive games during this stretch. His 17-for-22 performance included two home runs and five stolen bases.온라인바카
