Seattle adds two more All-Stars…Rodriguez, Kirby to the roster

The Seattle Mariners have added two more All-Stars to their roster.

The Major League Baseball office announced on Friday that Seattle outfielder Julio Rodriguez and right-hander George Kirby have been added to the All-Star team.

The two players replace Jordan Alvarez (Houston) and Shane McClanahan (Tampa Bay), who will miss the All-Star Game due to injury.

Rodriguez, last year’s American League Rookie of the Year, is batting .246 with a .309 on-base percentage, .414 slugging percentage, 13 home runs and 46 RBIs in 81 games this season. It’s his second straight All-Star selection.바카라사이트

Kirby is 7-7 with a 3.21 ERA in 16 starts and 101 innings pitched this season. His 0.8 walks per nine innings is the best in the league. This is his first All-Star appearance.

Seattle, which is hosting this year’s All-Star Game, has a total of three All-Stars, including Luis Castillo, who is making his first start.
