The LG Twins will play their 13th game of the season against the NC Dinos on April 26 at Changwon NC Park.

The day before, LG suffered a 1-14 loss. Starter Choi Won-tae fell apart in the first inning and gave up a lot of runs.

LG’s starting lineup against NC on the 26th will be Hong Chang-ki (right fielder), Shin Min-jae (second baseman), Kim Min-sung (first baseman), Austin (designated hitter), Oh Ji-hwan (shortstop), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Park Dong-won (catcher), Moon Sung-joo (left fielder), and Park Hae-min (center fielder).

Center fielder Kim Hyun-soo is out for the second straight game with a nagging back injury. Kim Min-sung will play first base and bat third. Kim Hyun-soo was named to the starting lineup before the previous game when he suddenly felt unwell. He did not play as a pinch hitter and rested. He was also left out of the starting lineup today.

Manager Yoon Kyung-yeop said, “Hyun-soo has swollen tonsils (today) and has a slight fever. I told him to rest at Sokso today,” he said, adding, “I told him to pay a fine.” When you don’t feel well, you don’t push yourself, and you take enough rest to recharge. Kim Hyun-soo did not take the field today and rested at the hotel.

Choi Won-tae, who pitched the previous day and gave up 11 runs on 15 hits in four innings, his worst outing since debuting, said, “The ball was bad from the start. My fastball was four or five kilometers off. When you don’t have a fastball, you lose the sharpness of your changeup.”스포츠토토

Yeom could have replaced Choi early, but he let him throw more. “There is a bullpen overload, but I let him throw and try to find the reason. We have the next game, so we have to find the reason (for the slump) while throwing. I told him to throw two more innings and think of it as practice.”

There were other changes to the first team roster. Infielder Son Ho-young was dropped to the second team and pitcher Yoon Hosol was added to the first team. This is the first time he’s made the first team this season.

Yoon played for Hanwha until last year. After free agent Chae Eun-sung signed a four-year, 9 billion won contract with Hanwha last winter, LG drafted Yoon as compensation for Chae.

In 22 appearances in the Futures League, Yoon has a 4-2 record with two saves and a 2.89 ERA. In August, he had a 0-0 record in seven games.
