KPGA Championship kicks off next month with music festival and more

Spectacular performances will be held every night on the golf course and fans will be treated to an abundance of gifts.

The Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour KPGA Championship (total prize money of 1.5 billion won), which will be held at A One Country Club in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, for four days from June 8, will feature a variety of events that attract the attention of golf fans as much as the players’ fierce competition for the championship prize of 300 million won.

The tournament, which began in 1958 and will be held for the 66th time this year, boasts the longest history in Korea. Since 2016, the tournament has been held at A-one Country Club for eight consecutive years, and is scheduled to be held at the same venue until 2027.

This year, the tournament will feature special tees for the 8th (par-4, 395 yards), 10th (par-4, 440 yards), and 13th (par-5, 529 yards) holes. The teeing grounds on three holes have been pushed back to increase the playing surface. Compared to last year, the 8th hole gained 36 yards, the 10th hole gained 31 yards, and the 13th hole gained 17 yards, requiring new course strategies.

There will also be plenty of events for the gallery visiting the tournament.

After the second round on June 9, there will be a DJ festival hosted by DJ Bandalak and DJ Chunja, and after the third round on June 10, there will be performances by singers Tae Jin Ah, Jang Ho Il’s 015B, and Norazo, so you can watch the professional golfers’ spectacular shots and enjoy the exciting performances on the golf course on a summer night.메이저사이트
