Klinsmann to return home in 2 days from US break…’June A-match mode’ begins

Jürgen Klinsmann, the head coach of the South Korean national soccer team, will return home on June 2 after a break in the United States. The national team coaching staff, including Klinsmann, will immediately get into June A-match mode.

Klinsmann has been recharging his batteries in the U.S. for the past 12 days after spending nearly a month traveling around Europe and Qatar, observing the European Wave, attending the Asian Cup group stage, and searching for a base camp.

After taking a break, Klinsmann will stay at his home in Seodaemun-gu and resume his duties as national team manager.

An official from the Korea Football Association (KFA) told ‘News1’, “Coach Klinsmann and other coaches who have been staying in Europe will arrive in one or two days to prepare for the June A match.”

Klinsmann’s team will play two A matches against Peru in Busan on June 16 and El Salvador in Daejeon on June 20.

The A matches are special for Klinsmann. Klinsmann made his coaching debut in March against Colombia (2-2 draw) and Uruguay (1-2 loss), but it was difficult for him to pick his own players because he was just appointed.메이저사이트

The squad was largely composed of players who had been selected for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

This time was different. Klinsmann has been traveling around the K League and Europe with his coaching staff, checking out players and mentally selecting resources that fit his soccer philosophy. As a result, the squad will be the “first true Klinsmann squad,” reflecting Klinsmann’s wishes.

A KFA official said, “Coach Klinsmann is very motivated to prepare for the June A match as he considers it to be the first time he will play with his handpicked players.”

Meanwhile, the national team plans to convene at Paju NFC on June 5 after announcing the roster on June 12.
