Kim In-soo, former head coach of the men’s volleyball team, dies at the age of 93
Kim In-soo, advisor to the Korea Volleyball Association, passed away on the 27th at the age of 93.
Advisor Kim was born in Pyongyang in 1930, graduated from Pyongyang High School, and served as a member of the national men’s volleyball team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Since then, as coach of the men’s national team, he has played a significant role in enhancing national prestige by leading the team to a silver medal at the 1970 Bangkok Asian Games and second place at the 1975 1st Asian Men’s Championship. 메이저사이트
Afterwards, he worked hard to develop Korean volleyball by serving as director of Korea Electric Power Corporation, chairman of Seoul Volleyball Association and Korea Actors Association, and advisor of Korea Volleyball Association.
The mortuary of his deceased was set up at the funeral hall in Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province. His funeral is at 8:30 am on the 1st of next month, and Jangji is the National Yeongcheon National Guard.
