Kim Hae-Sung explodes for three hits in Game 1 of MLB’s Philadelphia doubleheader

Ha-Sung Kim (San Diego Padres) had three hits in a game for the fourth time this season.

Kim batted 1-for-5 with a double in the first game of a doubleheader against the visiting Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB) at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S., on April 16.

Kim’s season batting average increased from 0.257 to 0.263.

This is the fourth time this season that Kim has had three hits in a game, and the first time in 18 days since March 28 against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Kim led off the first inning with a single to right, but was thrown out at first base on Fernando Tatis Jr.’s grounder to center field.온라인바카

Sensing a long ball, he rounded second base and ran further, but was thrown out at first base by Philadelphia center fielder Joan Rojas, who caught the ball as it bounced off the fence.

After retiring on an infield single in the second, Kim singled up the middle in his third at-bat with the bases loaded in the fifth and an infield single with two outs in the seventh, but they were unable to score.

In the ninth, Kim was caught on a fly ball to center field.

San Diego led 3-0 before giving up back-to-back runs in the bottom half of the inning to lose 6-4.
