Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels is a national baseball star.

Even if you don’t like the Angels, everyone likes Ohtani. When he’s on the field, people flock to him and take notice.

On Aug. 28, Ohtani hit two home runs in a home game against the Chicago White Sox to win his first career start. He pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out 10 to earn his seventh win of the season, and his first-inning solo shot and seventh-inning blast gave him 28 home runs on the season, giving him sole possession of the league lead in that category.
