Kiwoom takes a rain-cold win over KIA in the top of the seventh inning.

Kiwoom Heroes won a rain-cold 8-1 victory in the top of the seventh inning against the KIA Tigers in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at KIA Champions Field in Gwangju on the 27th. However, the rain started to fall in the middle of the game, and it became much heavier in the top of the seventh inning when Kiwoom’s offence was underway. First baseman Lee Ji-young was retired on a line drive to second base, and Kim Joo-hyung was no longer able to bat.

The game was eventually suspended at 20:33. The rain thinned out for a while, but then picked up again. The rain was pouring so hard that it was impossible to see the field. The umpires decided to call the game after 30 minutes.
