Chungbuk Cheongju FC’s rising four…expect more in the future with tight breathing
Cheongju FC was the parent club of Chungbuk Cheongju FC in the third division.
Most of the 30-odd players left the team when it turned professional, but Lee Jung-taek, Lee Seung-yeop, Lee Min-hyung, and Jung Jin-wook remained.
The four players were recognized for their skills and were selected.
One of them, Lee Jung-taek, started the season as a bench player, but has already played in 12 games and established himself as a starter.

“I thought I would stay behind a lot, but I think the coach gave me a good chance from the first game, so I was able to make a quick debut.”
The youngest of the four, 2000-born Lee Seung-yeop, also struggled to compete with the foreigners at the start of the season,
but in the last five games, he has been showing his best form.

Lee Min-hyung, who has been with Cheongju FC since 2020, scored his debut goal against Ansan last time out and has been a key contributor to the team’s upward trend.
