10 buddies in just one day… Yon Lam jumps to second place in Mexico Open 3R

World No. 1 Jon Rahm (Spain) made 10 birdies without a bogey in one day.

Ram swung a 10-under par in the third round of the PGA Tour Mexico Open (total prize money of $7.7 million) held at Vidanta Vallarta (par 71, 7,456 yards) in Vallarta, Mexico on the 30th (Korean time).

Ram, who scored 196 strokes with a 10-under par on the day and an interim total of 17-under par, moved up the rankings by 10 places and tied for second place. Chasing leader Tony Finau (USA) by two strokes, he stood shoulder to shoulder with Akshai Bhatia (USA).

‘Defending champion’ Lam, the champion of this event last year, will experience the joy of defending his title for the first time in his life if he wins this event. Ram successfully 크크크벳 defended his title on the DP World Tour, but failed to make a connection on the PGA Tour.

On the other hand, Kim Seong-hyun drove 5 birdies that day and recorded 3 under par 68 strokes, and tied for 23rd place with a median total of 7 under par 206 strokes. It raised the ranking by 9 places from the previous day. He is aiming to enter the top 10 for the second time following the Shriners Children’s Open (tied for 4th) in October of last year, with a three-stroke gap from the players in a tie for 10th place.
